NDIS Allied Health Jobs: Flexible Remote and Mobile Roles

Are you an allied health professional looking for flexible NDIS jobs that fit around your life? Aimy Allied is hiring. We're looking for occupational therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists and behaviour support practitioners who want remote, mobile and work from home roles.

Aimy Allied is an NDIS provider supporting participants nationwide, across every part of Australia. Our client list is growing fast, and we need caring, skilled clinicians to help us meet demand. If you've been searching for allied health jobs in Australia, remote NDIS jobs or telehealth work you can do from home, you're in the right place.

Roles we're hiring

Occupational therapist jobs (NDIS OT)

We're looking for NDIS occupational therapists to complete functional capacity assessments, assistive technology and home modification assessments, and ongoing therapy. Remote, mobile and telehealth OT work is available.

Psychologist jobs (remote and telehealth)

We're hiring registered and clinical psychologists for NDIS assessments, diagnostic assessments and ongoing therapy. Many sessions can be delivered by telehealth, so you can work from home.

Psychiatrist jobs

We're seeking psychiatrists to provide assessments, diagnoses and specialist reports for NDIS participants, including by telehealth.

Speech pathologist jobs

We need speech pathologists to support children and adults with communication, swallowing and mealtime needs. Mobile, home-visit and telehealth work is available.

Physiotherapist jobs (mobile physio)

We're hiring mobile physiotherapists to deliver NDIS physiotherapy in participants' homes and communities, along with assessments and reports.

Behaviour support practitioner jobs

We're looking for NDIS behaviour support practitioners to complete functional behaviour assessments and write behaviour support plans. Much of this work can be done remotely, with face-to-face visits as needed.

How it works: work from home, no office required

You don't need to come into an office. You can work from home and see clients by telehealth, visit them face to face, or do a mix of both. Here's how it works:

  • We find the clients. Referrals come to us from support coordinators, GPs, hospitals, families and other providers. We handle the intake, paperwork and scheduling.
  • We match appointments to where you are. When a client is ready for an appointment, we offer it to a clinician who lives or works close by. That means less driving and more time doing what you're trained to do.
  • You choose telehealth or face to face. If the client is happy with a telehealth session, you can see them from home. If they want a face-to-face appointment, we'll book it in their home, school or community, as close to you as possible.
  • We support you behind the scenes. Our team looks after bookings, client communication and admin, so you can focus on assessments, therapy and reports.
  • Why join Aimy Allied

  • Flexible hours: Choose when and how much you work, whether that's full time, part time or a few sessions a week alongside another role.
  • Work from home: Telehealth appointments and report writing can be done from home, with no daily commute.
  • Clients close to you: We match face-to-face appointments to your area, so you're not driving across the city all day.
  • A steady flow of referrals: We have a growing caseload, so you won't have to find your own clients.
  • Admin support: We handle scheduling, intake and client communication.
  • Meaningful work: Help NDIS participants get the assessments, reports and therapy they need to live more independent lives.
  • Work across disciplines: Collaborate with OTs, psychologists, physios, speech pathologists and support coordinators under one umbrella.
  • What you'll need

  • Current registration with AHPRA (occupational therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists and physiotherapists), or membership of Speech Pathology Australia for speech pathologists
  • For behaviour support practitioners, suitability with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • A Working With Children Check if you'll see children
  • Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
  • A driver's licence and reliable car for mobile and face-to-face work
  • A computer, reliable internet and a private space for telehealth sessions
  • Experience with NDIS participants and NDIS report writing is a plus, but new graduates with the right support are welcome to apply
